Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a Primary SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in South-East Bristol, dedicated to understanding and meeting the unique needs of every child. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are curious about working with children, those with experience supporting adults with autism, or anyone ready to make a positive impact.

Whether you're starting a career in education, seeking hands-on experience, or transitioning from mainstream to specialized settings, this role could be the perfect fit for you!

Position Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate dates available, full-time or part-time
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (term time only); flexible arrangements to support work/life balance
  • Pay: £84 - £95 per day, paid weekly
  • Perks: Lunch provided daily, accessible transport routes, and potential for contract extensions

About the Role:

  • No teaching experience? No problem! Bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide all the training and support you need.
  • Small class sizes (6-8 pupils) allow you to build strong, supportive relationships with students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A confident, proactive, and resilient individual comfortable managing challenging behaviours.
  • Someone who enjoys interactive play and engagement with young children, bringing positivity and a sense of humour to the classroom.
  • A team player open to feedback and continuous growth.
  • Ideally, someone with experience supporting children or young people with autism—but we warmly welcome those new to this area!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
