Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguarding children
- Liaise with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the best support is provided for all children
- Provide support for children in a group setting and 1-1 basis if needed
- Assisting with classroom preparation and activities
- Management of disruptive behaviour
- Help to produce a safe and engaging environment for children
Requirements
- Minimum of GCSE’s in English and Mathematics
- Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS checks.
- Driving Licence ( not essential but preferred)
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an education or care setting
- A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Positive attitude and an excellent work ethic
- Ability to work across both key stage 1 and 2 if needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
