  • A solid understanding of how National Curriculum test information supports both teacher and school development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt Lesson Plans: Quickly adapt and deliver flexible, differentiated lesson plans tailored to the needs of the students in various classrooms.
  • Maintain Engagement: Ensure lessons are engaging and effective, even on short notice, to sustain student motivation and facilitate their progress.
  • Utilise Assessment Data: Make effective use of available assessment data to inform your teaching during your time in the classroom.
  • Classroom Management: Implement and maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management to ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Support Student Learning: Provide support and challenge to students based on their individual needs, helping them achieve their potential.
  • Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback on student work and progress, ensuring continuity for the regular teacher.
  • Communicate Effectively: Share relevant information with the regular teacher and other staff to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of learning.
  • Build Relationships: Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive and effective teaching environment.
  • Professional Conduct: Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and safeguarding, while delivering high-quality teaching.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to take on a variety of roles and responsibilities as needed, depending on the school and class requirements.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time (minimum 8:30 am – 3:30 pm)
  • Additional hours may be needed for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.
