Year 3 Teacher – Maternity Cover (February 2025)
Location: Reading
Teaching Personnel are delighted to support a richly diverse and multicultural school in Reading in their search for a dedicated Year 3 Teacher. This is a maternity cover role, commencing in February 2025.
The school prides itself on fostering an inclusive and supportive community. They are seeking an adaptable and flexible teacher who excels in collaboration and can work effectively with all members of the school community to support the growth and development of their pupils.
Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively with fellow teachers, parents, and carers to provide the best possible support for pupils.
- Be skilled in adapting lesson planning collaboratively with a partner teacher.
- Actively participate in school meetings related to curriculum, progress, and attainment, contributing targets for improvement.
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and ethos by contributing to the development and implementation of policies, practices, and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
