Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit teachers to work within schools in the Penzance area. You will need to be confident with the primary curriculum and have great communication and behaviour management skills. You will need to be able to work as a team as you will be required to work alongside the teaching assistants within your class. You will also need to monitor students and provide them with extra support when/ if required, whether this being some one-to-one sessions with you or the teaching assistant spending some extra time with them on topics which they are particularly struggling with.
The ideal candidate will be confident when going into new classes and be able to quickly build good relationships with students. You will be expected to be organised and ensure that all marking is completed before finishing for the day. You may be required to communicate with the SENCO, the headteacher and parents.

You will also be required to have a Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service, this can be completed during the recruitment process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
