Job description

Calling All PGCE Students

Location: Newport

Hours: Temporary, Full/Part Time

Salary: £166.32 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for proactive, enthusiastic and passionate NQT’s to fill several positions in the Newport Primary area. Potential candidates must be passionate about their craft, as well as consistently conducting themselves in a professional manner and providing daily inspiration for all pupils. To be a successful candidate, you must be forward thinking toward your craft and be dedicated to the general development and growth of the classroom. You must be adaptable, reliable and adaptable to work in a variety of different settings.

A successful Primary School Teacher must:

  • Prioritise every student is engaged and focused every day.
  • Be able to give constructive criticism for students to adapt, learn and grow from.
  • Ensure that the environment is safe and nurturing for the pupils.
  • Create and build upon relationships with the students, staff and parents.

To be considered a successful candidate for the role you need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are working toward it.
  • Child Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
  • Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
  • Passionate toward teaching and developing pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
