Job Role: Primary School Teacher

Location: Newport

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £157.66 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Teaching Personnel are calling all Newly Qualified or Fully Qualified Teachers to help fill a role for a Primary School in Newport for the new academic year. The school we are working alongside to try and fill this role are looking for a passionate, creative and self-motivated educator to positively lead a Year 2 classroom for the new academic year beginning in September 2024. With us working alongside the Headteacher of the school, it is imperative to highlight the school’s emphasis on their core values - encouragement, overall safety and the prioritisation of day-to-day development of the pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

Essential Criteria:

  • DBS child workforce only on the update service.
  • EWC registration.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (or working toward it).
  • Driven to succeed within their new role.
  • Have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable Criteria for a successful candidate:

  • Thorough with lesson planning, engaging for all pupils.
  • Able to create a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Actively look to establish and build upon relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Have a proactive mindset and attitude enabling time to plan and cater toward the needs of the class.
  • Provide constructive criticism to allow students to learn and benefit from.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
