Primary Teacher

Teaching Personnel is currently working with several partner schools in Newcastle, seeking full-time teachers to join their vibrant and inclusive primary schools in January.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum objectives.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings as required.

We Are Looking For an Excellent Class Teacher Who:

• Holds a UK teaching qualification, such as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT, PGCE, SCITT, or a Bachelor of Education (BEd), and is open to mentorship (final-year students expected to qualify this academic year will also be considered, based on experience and application).
• Has an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (we can assist with this if necessary).
• Is professional, dedicated, and hard-working.
• Demonstrates high standards of positive behaviour management.
• Has high expectations for themselves and their students.
• Understands safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Shows enthusiasm and passion for education and learning.
• Consistently demonstrates excellent teaching practices.
• Is committed to achieving high standards and supporting student progress.
• Contributes to whole-school improvement as a team player.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
