Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and prepare lessons based on the curriculum
- Assess and monitor students' progress
- Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals
- Implement effective classroom management strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and resources
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and behaviour
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching primary school students is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the primary school curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
- Organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional relevant certifications or training
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
- Work in a primary school setting
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Collaboration with colleagues and interaction with students and parents/guardians
- Occasional participation in professional development sessions outside regular working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
