Are you a dedicated and compassionate primary teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs?
We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled primary teacher to take on a role at a school in Stockport working with KS2 students in the new academic year. You will play a key role in providing quality education and support to students.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of the students
- Tailor teaching methods and materials to address individual learning styles and needs of each student, offering additional support where necessary
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom by promoting emotional well-being and develop students’ social skills
- Regularly assess progress of students and provide detailed reports to staff and carers
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications and requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience
- Experience working in an SEN or SEMH environment
- Strong classroom management skills with a focus on creating a safe and supportive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Knowledge of relevant curriculum standards and an ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment with a positive and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
