Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £150 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching primary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours on a contractual basis in a primary school setting in Croydon, South East England. The teacher will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
