Job Title: Primary Teacher

Job Duties:

1. Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to primary school students.

2. Assessing and evaluating students' progress and providing feedback.

3. Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to create a positive learning environment.

4. Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student performance and behaviour.

5. Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Relevant degree in Education or related field

- Knowledge of the national curriculum

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional certifications in special education or specific subject areas

- Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

- Working hours typically follow the school schedule

- Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities

- Potential for additional responsibilities such as leading school clubs or committees

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
