KS2 Class Teacher – From October 2024
- Teacher Main Scale M1-M6
Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely 3 form entry school in Hassocks seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our dedicated team in April 2024, to cover maternity leave for the summer term (in the first instance, although there is a possibility that this could be extended into the autumn term). We are looking for a strong teacher who can take over a class in term 3 of the school year – making strong relationships quickly and inspiring learners.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- has the desire to ensure that every child reaches their full potential (even though this position is temporary)
- takes a pride in the role that they do engaging with children in an enthusiastic and positive manner
- maintains high standards of learning and fosters good pupil progress – knowing that every day maters for our learners
- establishes good relationships with children, staff and parents and genuinely values these
- has proven resilience – teaching is a tough but incredibly rewarding profession
- embraces active learning – with the children ‘doing’ the learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
