About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a specialist provision setting in Cardiff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists to provide individualized support to pupils.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with ALN.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior and academic success.
  • Regularly communicate progress and development to parents, colleagues, and external agencies as required.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning while adhering to the school's policies and curriculum guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to teaching.
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of all learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
