Are you a qualified teacher looking for work in mainstream primary schools? Are you looking for flexible work in the new academic year? Are you happy to work in KS1 or 2?
Primary Schools across Birmingham are looking for dedicated and passionate teachers to work as cover teachers from September. We are looking for teachers with flexible availability and knowledge across Key stage 1 and 2. Having a full driving licence is not essential but is prefered for this role. The standard hours are 8:30-15:30 with no requirement for planning or marking responsibilities.
Your roles and responsibilities as a Primary teacher would include:
- Delivering preplanned lessons to primary school students
– Managing behaviour in the classroom
- Being flexible and adaptable to the needs of each school
For this position you must hold a UK based QTS, have a genuine interest in education, can “get stuck in”, have an understanding of KS1/2 curriculum and have relevant teaching experience.
Pay rates range from £135 to £190 a day, dependent on experience and pay grade.
These exciting opportunities are available to start ASAP with new opportunities arising each day. There is the possibility of full time or part time hours dependent on your availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
