Location: Liverpool, Merseyside, Lydiate

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time/Full-Time, Flexible

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Evaluate and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate educational activities

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively

This role involves working on a temporary, part-time basis, with the possibility of covering different classes and year groups within a primary school setting. The working hours may vary depending on the school's requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
