Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Position: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cambridge
Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our primary schools based in Cambridge. You would be joining a department that supports students with sensory impairments and other special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialised support to students with sensory impairments and other special educational needs.
- Work closely with the sensory support team to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each child.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of patience, empathy, and dedication.
- Background Check: Successful candidates will be required to undergo and pay for a enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
