Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the primary school teacher in delivering high-quality education to our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, where every student can thrive. This is a full-time, temporary position with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the primary school teacher in delivering lessons, using effective teaching techniques.
- Support individual students with their learning activities, providing one-on-one attention and guidance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting a sense of belonging and respect for diversity.
- Supervise students during break times and off-site activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the smooth operation of the classroom.

Required Qualifications:

- GCSE qualifications, with a strong understanding of core subjects.
- Degree in Education or a related field (Desirable).

Key Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Patience, empathy, adaptability, resilience, and positivity, essential qualities for working with children.
- Knowledge of child development and effective teaching techniques, to support students with diverse learning needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Teaching Assistant qualification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and a passion for education.
- First aid certification, ensuring the safety and well-being of students in the event of an emergency.

Working Conditions:

- Work in a primary school setting, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.
- Full-time hours, temporary position, with the potential for a permanent role.

- Competitive salary of £83 - £90 per day, based on qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
