Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for a flexible role? We are seeking a PPA Teacher to join our dedicated team in Whiteley, starting in January 2025.

As a PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning while allowing our class teachers the time they need for planning and assessment.
The Role:
As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects during the designated planning and preparation time for our class teachers. You will teach a range of year groups and subject areas, offering variety and challenge for both you and the students. The role provides an excellent opportunity for teachers who are looking for flexibility and a chance to work in different year groups within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Ensure high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback as required.
- Support students with additional learning needs to ensure they are included and engaged.
- Work closely with class teachers to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching across all year groups.
- Contribute to school-wide activities and initiatives when appropriate.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 (desirable).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage a range of age groups.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple subjects and year groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
