English Postgraduate Teaching – Supporting children with reading and writing.

Description:
We would love an English Graduate to join at Teaching Personnel to support children with their reading and writing development. The candidate will work closely with children to support improving their literacy skills, critical thinking and writing abilities.
Qualifications:
- A strong background in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of lessons, reiterating it 1-1 or in small groups.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and support for students needing additional help with their reading and writing skills.
- Provide feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and performance.
- Help set up and organise classroom activities and instructional needs.
- Encourage participation and foster a love for reading and writing beyond the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
