PE Teacher - East London Secondary School

About the Role:
As a PE Teacher at our esteemed school, you'll play a vital role in delivering engaging and innovative physical education lessons to students across various age groups. You'll have the opportunity to foster a love for sports, promote health and fitness, and instil valuable life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to participate.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, teams, and events.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their overall development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a holistic approach to education and student well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialization in Physical Education or relevant subject area.
  • Previous experience teaching PE in a school setting, preferably at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
