A school based in Berkley is currently recruiting for two learning support assistants to join their workforce in September.
The school is a specialist independent day school, offering academic and therapeutic provision for students aged 11-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs, Autism and additional learning needs. The school combines the best elements of a mainstream school with the additional support and resources of a special school, to create an environment where every young person can achieve their own goals and thrive in a future of their own choosing.
About the role:
- Monday - Friday
- 08:30- 3
- Term time only
- September start
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or adults with SEN or SEMH
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable students.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
