 PE Teachers Needed – Secondary Schools in Wigan

Start Date: January 2025

Are you a qualified PE Teacher with a passion for inspiring young people to lead active and healthy lives? We are working with secondary schools across Wigan seeking enthusiastic PE Teachers for both short-term and full-time roles starting in January 2025.

About the Role:

  • Teach engaging PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, and a love for sports and physical fitness.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, including school sports programs.
  • Support students’ development with tailored feedback and progress monitoring.

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
