Are you a passionate and dynamic Physical Education teacher looking to make a lasting impact? We are seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Torquay, starting this December. This is a long-term position, with the potential to extend for the entire academic year.
About the Role
- Position: Full-Time PE Teacher
- Location: Torquay, Devon
- Start Date: December
- Duration: Long-term, potentially through to the end of the academic year
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, engaging students and fostering a love of physical activity and sports.
- Plan and execute a varied curriculum, catering to a diverse range of abilities.
- Support and encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and physical activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote health, wellbeing, and teamwork throughout the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level.
- A genuine passion for sports, fitness, and student development.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
