PE Teacher
Teaching Personnel are searching for a PE Teacher, to work in a Secondary School in the Swansea area. We are looking to recruit a passionate and innovative teacher, who will be joining an experienced and cohesive PE department.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective PE lessons, adhering to curriculum guidelines.
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials to support students’ learning.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that promote collaboration and critical thinking skills.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the PE curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents and school staff.
Required Qualifications:
- An honours degree in a relevant subject.
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching PE at a secondary education level.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
