Full-Time PE Teacher Wanted in Shefield!

Are you a passionate, dedicated, and determined PE Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have the perfect role for you!

A secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a qualified PE Teacher (QTS) to join their dynamic team full-time starting from September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a love for physical activity, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork amongst students.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring that each pupil reaches their full potential.
  • Plan and manage extra-curricular sports activities, including after-school clubs and inter-school competitions.
  • Collaborate with the wider school community to integrate physical education within the school's overall ethos and culture.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education.
  • A passion for teaching and motivating students to achieve excellence.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that inspires student success.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
