Job Title: PE Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with one of our partner secondary schools who are lookng to appoint a full-time PE Teacher (preferably male). The school have just recently recieved a glowing Ofsted report, and student behaviour is excellent.

£100 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students
  • Develop and implement diverse physical activities to enhance students' fitness and skills
  • Evaluate and monitor students' progress in physical education
  • Organise and supervise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive physical education curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialisation in Physical Education or relevant field

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of physical fitness, sports, and health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Good organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in coaching or playing sports at a competitive level

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Some activities may require physical exertion and outdoor work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
