About the role
A PE teacher in a secondary school is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing physical education lessons that promote students' physical health, fitness, and well-being. They develop a diverse curriculum that includes a variety of sports and physical activities, ensuring students learn key skills and teamwork. PE teachers also manage the safety of students during physical activities, supervise extracurricular sports clubs, and encourage students to engage in regular physical exercise. Additionally, they assess student progress, provide feedback, and help foster a positive attitude towards fitness and healthy lifestyles. They may also support students in developing life skills such as leadership, communication, and resilience.
Am I suitable?
The successful candidate for the Teacher of English position will have to have:
- Degree or Higher in relevant field
- At least 1 year teaching experience to Secondary age pupils
- Unqualified Teacher applications will be considered if the candidate can showcase a vast experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level English
