Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Team as a PE Teacher in Durham!
Are you a passionate PE teacher looking for an exciting new challenge starting ASAP? Our client school in Durham is seeking a dedicated individual who is ready to inspire students both in and out of the classroom. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT), we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Role: PE Teacher
- Salary: £161.31 - £251.71 per day (M1 to UPS3)
- Contract: Full-Time
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and engaging PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities
- Plan, execute, and assess lessons that promote both physical fitness and sportsmanship
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Lead and encourage participation in a wide range of extracurricular sports activities
- Access to state-of-the-art sports facilities to enhance student engagement
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of both GCSE and BTEC PE curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply with our assistance)
- Two professional references from recent employment
