An exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Bolton.

  • Full-time PE Teacher.
  • Required to start in September.
  • Teaching male pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE PE.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (M1 – UPS3).

Our client school require an additional member of staff to join the PE department on a long term basis. The school has modern PE facilities and equipment and is currently hoping to extend this further.

Responsibilities:

  • Expected to take on a full timetable alongside full planning and marking responsibilities for pupils aged 11-16.
  • Will need to prepare and deliver differentiated PE lessons to meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability.
  • It is important the incoming candidate is confident and comfortable to design lessons to support pupils with additional learning needs.

The school are accepting applications from newly qualified and experienced PE teachers. You must have QTS and a specialism in PE to be considered.

Our client secondary school is in Bolton and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For candidates who don’t drive, there are several public transport links from neighbouring areas of Bolton such as Bury, Wigan, Horwich Prestwich, and Salford.
