Job Opportunity: PE Teacher (Long-Term Cover)
Location: Accrington, Lancashire
School Type: Mainstream Secondary School
Start Date: February Half-Term 2025

Are you a passionate and dynamic PE teacher ready to inspire and motivate students? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our dedicated team, covering a long-term staffing gap from February Half-Term 2025.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a thriving secondary school environment. You will:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for physical activity and healthy living.
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude towards fitness and sports.
  • Plan and deliver a broad curriculum, catering to diverse abilities and interests.
  • Play an active role in extra-curricular activities, sports events, and school competitions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching Physical Education.
  • Has a genuine passion for sports and developing students’ physical and mental well-being.
  • Can inspire and challenge students, fostering both enjoyment and achievement in PE.
  • Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
