Position: Pastoral Teaching Assistant
Location:Walsall
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: October 2024

Are you a psychology graduate looking to make a positive impact in education? Do you have a passion for supporting the emotional and mental well-being of students? we are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and pastoral support to students.
  • Work closely with students to help them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Assist in creating a positive and nurturing environment for all students.
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student well-being is prioritized.

Requirements

  • A degree in Psychology (or related field).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for student welfare.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy school environment.
  • Some experience working in a school or with young people
