Role: Pastoral Leader

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Pastoral Leader for one of our Secondary schools, based in NN4. They are currently seeking a Pastoral Leader within their fully inclusive, all-through learning community. Your role will be to support the students in a positive attitude both in the school and within the school community wider audiences.
The school is a dynamic and heavily oversubscribed all-through academy which covers an age range from 4 to 19. The school caters for over 2100 students across our Primary phase, Secondary phase, and Sixth Form. The school has an incredibly talented and motivated staff body and a supportive, bright, and extremely well-behaved student body. The school is currently rated as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. Our early years foundation stage provision is judged to be outstanding.
The school continue to improve and aim to become one of the highest performing schools in the Northamptonshire area. We are a “High Performance Learning School” and in November 2021, we obtained the “High Performance Learning, World Class School Award”. We are now part of the HPL global fellowship and collaborate with schools both locally and internationally.
The Pastoral Leader role includes:
- Will work directly with the Assistant Headteacher, the Pastoral Services Manager, the Behaviour and Engagement Leader and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead within the support, care and guidance team as well as with outside agencies, other senior staff, students and their parents.
- The role reports to the Assistant Headteacher – Behaviour and Attitudes.
- The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to work under pressure, have excellent communication skills, and a strong track record of customer focused delivery. He/she will work as part of a team dedicated to delivering high quality pastoral provision from the start of the school day through to the extended wrap-around support and reassurance we expect to deliver to our students and their parents during their time at Moulton.
- This role is key to our pastoral provision, requiring flexibility, innovation and enthusiasm to help us deliver high levels of support. In particular, the Pastoral Leader will need to ensure a consistently high standard of care and professionalism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
