Pastoral Lead
Teaching personnel are working with an excellent school in the m38 area to recruit for a full time pastoral leader. This primary school has a great sense of community and places the children at the heart of everything. The school describes itself as a ‘family’ where everyone is valued and recognised as an individual, a place where talents and interests are nurtured and children are encouraged to ‘ aim for the stars’
We are looking to appoint a nurturing, passionate and resilient individual that will be fully committed to the role.
About the role:
- Assist with the work of the behaviour and pastoral team, promoting the highest standards of student behaviour
- Strong focus on behaviour management, wellbeing and communication
- Targeted intervention support, working with classes, groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting students with SEND
- Support students with SEMH needs
- Implementing specific, tailored programmes
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and other agencies
- Full-time – starting ASAP
- 12 month contact
The ideal candidate:
- Nurturing, compassionate and resilient nature
- Committed and passionate about pupil wellbeing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have excellent experience / knowledge with/of challenging behaviour
- Must have GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
