Part-Time Teaching Assistant in Welsh Primary Schools (Cardiff & Pontypridd)

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Welsh Primary Schools in Cardiff & Pontypridd
Hours: Part-time, flexible (around your university schedule)
Pay: £12.90 an hour
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working in local primary schools, supporting teachers and helping children with their learning. Whether it's assisting with classroom activities, one-on-one support, or helping to manage small groups, your role will be vital in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and activities
- Support students with their learning, both in groups and individually
- Help with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, fun, and supportive atmosphere for pupils
- Work closely with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the day
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiastic, positive, and patient individuals
- Ability to communicate well with children and staff
- No formal teaching qualifications required, but experience interacting with children is required (personal or professional)
- Fluent Welsh speakers
- Reliable and punctual

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
