Job Overview

We’re looking for enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistants to join our team and support teachers in creating engaging and positive learning environments for young children. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you'll assist with classroom activities, provide one-on-one support, supervise play, and help with daily routines to ensure every child feels safe and encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in organising and running classroom activities as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to children as they build early skills in literacy, numeracy, and play.
• Supervise and encourage children during outdoor play and creative activities.
• Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging atmosphere as a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or in a nursery or early years setting is ideal.
• Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Qualifications: Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3) is beneficial but not essential.
