Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Primary School who are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis, starting in November 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to support our youngest learners in a warm and engaging environment.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and caring setting where every child feels valued and supported. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children’s development, and planning next steps to support their growth.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication.
• Working closely with the Early Years team to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years qualification.
• Have experience working within the EYFS and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
• Be creative, patient, and committed to nurturing the unique potential of each child.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be organised and able to manage the demands of a busy nursery environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
