Nursery Teacher

Do you have a good understanding of children’s development and learning?

Are you enthusiastic about providing high quality childcare?

Are you passionate about prioritising children’s happiness and wellbeing?

  • Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
  • Pay:  £120 - £140
  • Location:  Burnley, Lancashire  

Responsibilities:

-          Have a calm and positive approach.

-          Being a Key Person, carrying out responsibilities in building relationships with the children and their families. Promote these positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.

-          Work alongside the EYFS Framework by planning and delivering engaging sessions.

-          Update the continuous provision to ensure children are being challenged and can make progress.

-          Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children is prioritised at all times.

-          Oversee the smooth running and high quality provision provided within the room.

Requirements:

-          Early Years Teaching Status.

-          Experience working within childcare settings.

-          Have excellent communication skills.

-          Have an enhanced DBS on the update service.

-          Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

-          Excellent Safeguarding knowledge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
