New Exciting Opportunity for Nursery Early Years Teachers!

We are now recruiting EYFS Nursery Teachers for some exciting opportunities.

Our nurseries pride themselves on building relationships, gaining trust and making a difference in children’s learning and development.

The successful candidate will be working as a Nursery Teacher, supporting their children through a nurturing approach.

Please note: You MUST have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent early years practitioner teaching qualification.

  • Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
  • Pay:  £120 - £140
  • Location:  Hyndburn

Your Responsibilities:

-        Plan and deliver a rich and varied curriculum that meets the individual needs and interests of each child.

-        Provide high quality education in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.

-        Be responsible for carrying out observations so that gaps in children’s development can be identified.

-        Ability to prioritise the well-being and development of all your children.

-        Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.

-        Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers and staff, demonstrating clear communication.

-        Monitor and assess children’s progress, keeping detailed records and sharing updates with parents and carers.

-        Promote children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through structured and unstructured play.

-        Have a good understanding and knowledge of children with additional needs that may need extra support.

-        Maintain a high standard of health and safety, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring the nursery environment is safe and hygienic.

-        Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early years education.

Your requirements:

-        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-        Ability to work collaboratively with supporting staff, other professionals and parents.

-        Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.  

-        Have a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment

-        Relevant experience working with children, in a childcare setting.

-        Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent early years practitioner teaching qualification.

-        Enhanced DBS Check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
