Are you a Nursery Practitioner seeking work in September 2024?

We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join one of our inspiring Hyndburn Nurseries, as a Nursery Assistant. If you are passionate about making a difference to children’s development and learning, this role may be for you!

• Hours: Full-time and Part-time: Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
• Pay: £12.90 - £15
• Location:  Hyndburn

Your Responsibilities:

ü  Make a positive impact to children’s educational journey.

ü  Have a nurturing personality to support the needs of the children, prioritising their wellbeing.

ü  Ability to support children with additional needs.

ü  Deliver engaging group activities to Key Worker children.

ü  Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.

ü  Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers and staff, demonstrating clear communication.

ü  Promote high standards of quality within the nursery learning environment.

ü  Be responsible for carrying out observations so that gaps in children’s development can be identified.

Your Requirements:

ü  Support the teacher in creating a safe, fun and stimulating environment.

ü  Work collaboratively with the Nursery teacher, other professionals and parents.

ü  Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.

ü  Relevant experience working with children, in a childcare setting.

ü  Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification or equivalent.

ü  Enhanced DBS check on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
