About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team to create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive atmosphere where children can thrive. Your role will involve planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, supporting children’s development and personal care needs, and helping to create a positive environment that promotes learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Observe and track children’s progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring open and effective communication.
• Support children’s emotional well-being, providing comfort, encouragement, and reassurance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a creative, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Ensure a robust understanding and implementation of safeguarding practices.
• Contribute actively to fostering a welcoming and inclusive setting for all children.

Requirements:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
• A caring and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
