Qualification Required

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

• A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

Key responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Observe, monitor, and assess children’s progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, ensuring open and effective communication.
• Support children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort, encouragement, and reassurance when needed.
• Provide personal care tailored to the needs of each setting and age group.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment.
• Ensure all safeguarding practices are understood and implemented effectively.
• Actively contribute to fostering an inclusive and positive atmosphere for all children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
