Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold:
- A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Observe, monitor, and assess children’s progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, ensuring clear and open communication.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by providing comfort, encouragement, and reassurance.
- Deliver personal care tailored to the needs of each setting and age group.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment.
- Ensure full understanding and effective implementation of safeguarding practices.
- Contribute actively to fostering an inclusive, positive atmosphere for all children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
