Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Location:
North West England, Merseyside, Crosby
Salary:
£12.90 - £15.60 Per hour

Job Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of young children
- Create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that fosters learning and development for children
- Observe, assess, and record each child's progress to inform individualised planning and support
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure open communication and partnership in the care and education of children
- Cultivate and support the development of children's fundamental skills, including language, numeracy, and social skills
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrate understanding of child development and learning theories
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Show strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
- Have additional training in areas such as safeguarding and behaviour management
Working Conditions:
This role involves working with young children in a nursery setting. It may require some lifting and bending. The working hours are part-time, and flexibility may be required to meet the needs of children and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
