Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education recruitment agency, is pleased to represent a reputable school in the WF4 area of Wakefield. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their team on a flexible basis.
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: £77-£90 per day
Start date: October 2023

Job Description: As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children in the early years. You will work closely with the EYFS team to deliver high-quality care and educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and support to children aged 2 to 4 years old.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, building positive relationships.
- Collaborate with the EYFS team to maintain accurate records and assess children's progress.
- Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and engaging nursery atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience working in an early years setting, ideally as a Nursery Nurse.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and nurturing nursery environment.
