Nursery Nurse

Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education recruitment agency, is pleased to represent a reputable school in the WF4 area of Wakefield. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their team on a flexible basis.

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: £77-£90 per day
Start date: October 2023

Job Description: As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children in the early years. You will work closely with the EYFS team to deliver high-quality care and educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care and support to children aged 2 to 4 years old.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and play.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, building positive relationships.
• Collaborate with the EYFS team to maintain accurate records and assess children's progress.
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and engaging nursery atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualification).
• Experience working in an early years setting, ideally as a Nursery Nurse.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
• Dedication to maintaining a safe and nurturing nursery environment.
