Are you a passionate music educator looking to share your love for music in a flexible, part-time role? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Music Teacher to join our team!

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to join us 3 days a week this September. You will be required to deliver inspiring and effective music lessons across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach various music disciplines, prepare students for performances, and contribute to our vibrant music community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Teach a range of music subjects, including theory, instrumental practice, and vocal training.
  • Prepare students for recitals, concerts, competitions, and exams.
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and events.
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their musical potential.
  • Stay current with the latest music education techniques and trends.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Music or Music Education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching music in a school or academy setting.
  • Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and vocal training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
