Job Title: Singing Specialist Music Teacher

Start Date: September 2024 

Contract Type: Full-time 

Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working with a vibrant and supportive secondary school based in Portsmouth who are looking for a Music Teacher to join their team from September. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality singing lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a passion for music and inspire students to develop their skills.
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular music program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Music or a related subject.
  • Extensive experience teaching singing at secondary school level.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision and ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
