Music Teacher - Secondary School
Location: Oldham
Are you a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team in Oldham. This role offers the chance to shape the musical education of students and foster a love for music across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity and musical expression.
- Prepare students for examinations, performances, and extra-curricular music activities.
- Foster a positive learning environment that motivates and inspires students to achieve their best.
- Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department to support school productions and events.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music or relevant teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Music curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities, including music clubs and school performances.
- A valid DBS check registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
