Music Teacher
We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a suburb of Milton Keynes who are recruiting for a Music Teacher from November 2024 on a part-time contract.
- Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
- Start date: 4th November 2024
- Contract: Part-time, temporary contract 4th November - 19th December (0.4)
- Pay: £143-211 (Main Pay Scale for Qualified Teachers), paid as a daily rate through us then salary directly offered with school
The role would involve teaching Music across Year 7 to Year 13, delivering the Music curriculum for predominantly GCSE and some A Level across two days a week - Wednesday and Thursday. This would be a temporary contract due to finish at Christmas only, and best for a Qualified Teacher to step in and support with.
Responsibilities will include:
- Plan Music lessons to suit the individual needs of the students and group
- Teach students to play an instrument and to read and understand music
- Prepare students for music exams, competitions and performances
- Set assignments and mark and assess students' work
- Organise school choirs, orchestras, bands and musical performances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
