Job Title: Music Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Develop and implement curriculum in line with educational standards
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Organise and participate in music-related extracurricular activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Music Education or related field
  • Proven experience in teaching music to students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of music theory and practical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Music Education
  • Experience with music technology and software

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours
  • Temporary position
  • Work within a supportive educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
